Ronald F. Goshe was a mechanic and truck driver
Ronald F. Goshe, 84, passed away June 14, 2023 at his residence in Arlington. Ron was born January 29, 1939 in Alvada to the late Linus and Margaret (Kessler) Goshe. On November 25, 1961 he married Mary Eschenbrenner Goshe and she survives.
Ron worked as a mechanic at Schultz's Motor Sales in Tiffin. He later became a truck driver logging over a million miles with no accidents for various companies. After retirement, he was a terminal manager at Clark in Lima. Ron attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Ada. He enjoyed gardening, family bar-b-q's and traveling with his wife, Mary in Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Kentucky, meeting many new people along their travels.
Survivors include his wife, Mary K. Goshe of Arlington; three children, Carol (Roger) Beagle, Paula (Kevin) O'Rear of Findlay, Edward (Beth) Goshe of Jenera; five grandchildren, Marvin (Jessica) Beagle, Mitchell (Kathryn) Beagle, Jessica (Jon) Long, Erica (David) Feller, Brett (Madi Swope) O'Rear, six great-grandchildren, Kendra Light, Haylee Beagle, Emmett Beagle, Arlo Beagle, Alaina Beagle, Crew Feller and two brothers, Charles Goshe and Eugene (Sharon) Goshe both of Tiffin.
Ron was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Fox and two brothers, Linus Goshe, Jr.and Duane Goshe.
Ron's services will begin at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2023 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Father Luyen Dau officiating. Visitation will be Monday, June 19, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private burial will take place in Thompson Cemetery, Bluffton.
