Bluffton Historical Society invitation to July meeting
The Bluffton Ohio Historical Society will meet this at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12 at Bluffton's Town Hall, third floor. There will be a business meeting and updates on the progress of bylaws, non-profit status and a discussion of artifacts acquisition.
Blufftonites certainly have memories of getting their license plates locally. For the evening's program, we will hear an interesting story from the Gromans about their father maintaining his same plate number year after year. Those very plates will be on display. We will also hear a history of license plate distribution here in Bluffton. There was a sequence involved in this distribution madness, and an explanation of it will also be given.
The Bluffton Ohio Historical Society meets monthly the second Wednesday of each month on the third floor of Bluffton's Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. After a brief business meeting, a program of historical relevance follows. The public is invited to attend.
