Jena Sammetinger named VP/Human Resources Officer at CNB
Citizens National Bank (CNB) has promoted Jena Sammetinger to VP/Human Resources Officer. In this expanded role, Jena manages the bank’s retirement plan, as well as shareholder administration, in addition to her other HR duties. Katie Cheeseman, HR Director, states, “Jena has been a valuable part of the HR team, continuing to hone her skills and always willing to learn new things. I’m excited to see her take on more responsibility and leadership through her new role.”
Jena joined the CNB team in 2014 as a HR generalist, focusing on recruitment, payroll processing, employee relations and helping to implement a company-wide wellness initiative. She was also a member of the bank’s Next Gen Advisory Board and became an officer of the bank in 2017. “I’m most thankful for the investment CNB has made in promoting my continued learning and career growth,” states Jena.
A graduate of Lima Shawnee High School, Jena completed a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Wright State University with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She is a 2017 graduate of the Allen Lima Leadership program, a 2022 graduate of the Ohio Bankers League Bank Management School and a United Way Campaign Champion for CNB. She and her husband have one son and reside in Wapakoneta, Ohio.
