Pirate girls tennis beats Defiance
Bluffton plays Bath on Tuesday, August 22.

The Bluffton High School girls tennis team defeated Defiance 3-1 Tuesday evening, August 15, in a contest shortened by inclement weather.
The Pirates improved to 2-2 with the win. The match was stopped by rain before the second doubles match could be completed.
Bluffton won all three singles matches in straight sets to secure the team victory.
Singles:
1st: Brooke Camper (B) defeated Mabel Adams (D)
6-0, 6-0
2nd: Rory Youngpeter (B) defeated Kayla Snyder (D)
6-1, 6-2
3rd: Brooklyn Moser (B) defeated Addi Becker (D)
6-1, 6-0
Doubles:
1st: Alexa Ritner and Alyssa Ritchie (D) defeated
Leah Klinger and Hannah Nieman (B) 6-3, 6-4
2nd: Genevieve Gatchel and Ava McCamery (B) trailed
Victoria Gerenscer and Maria Mosera 1-6, 2-3 (D) when match stopped due to rain
