Pirate volleyball sweeps Hornets
Bluffton hosts Wayne Trace on September 11

The Bluffton High School varsity volleyball team swept visiting local non-league rival Cory-Rawson in three sets Wednesday evening, September 6.
Bluffton handily won the one-sided bout 25-7, 25-8, 25-16.
The Pirates improved to 7-2 after the victory.
Kendall Stackhouse and Karlie Lora smacked seven kills apiece to lead the Bluffton offense.
Gracie Yarnell passed up 17 assists and served 10 aces. Olivia Hobensack contributed 11 assists.
Avery Talavinia and Vanessa Cross each came up with six digs. Morgan Junior Ayla Grandey dealt six aces. While Alivia Lambert served up three aces.
The Bluffton junior varsity also stung the Hornets, 2-0.
The Pirates visit non-league foe Elmwood Thursday.
Bluffton hosts Wayne Trace Monday, September 11 and travels to face local league rival Allen East (3-0) Tuesday, Sept. 12 in the Northwest Conference opener.
