LCC to join NWC, Fort Laramie football decision pending
The Northwest Conference and its member schools have announced that Lima Central Catholic High School has accepted an invitation to become a member of the conference in all sports beginning with the 2024-25 school year. Member schools met Wednesday and voted unanimously to extend an invitation to Lima Central Catholic.
This will give the conference 8 full-time members with the pending departures of Ada and Leipsic in 2024-25.
In order to keep the football schedule balanced with 8 teams and a full schedule in weeks 4 through 10 an invitation was also extended to Fort Loramie High School to join the conference in 2024 for football only.
The Fort Loramie Board of Education will meet on Monday, September 18 to consider an invitation for football only. Pending Board approval, conference membership would begin in 2024.
