Bluffton girls tennis blanked by Notre Dame

By Cort Reynolds

The Bluffton High School girls tennis team lost 5-0 at Notre Dame Academy Wednesday evening, September 27, at the Twos Athletic Club in Toledo.

The Pirate netters dropped to 7-7 with the defeat that snapped a four-match win streak.

The host Eagles won all 10 sets played in the match.

Pirate senior Brooke Camper lost 6-3, 7-5 at first singles to sophomore Nora Johnson in the only close match of the day.

Bluffton managed to win just six games combined in the other four matches against ND, an all-girls school.

Bluffton plays Lima Central Catholic at the University of Northwestern Ohio on Tuesday, October 3.
