FOOTBALL: Franklin downs Bluffton 31-24 in HCAC opener
FRANKLIN, Ind.__The Bluffton University football team opened up Heartland Conference play with a 31-24 loss to Franklin College on Saturday, Sept. 30. The Beavers fell to 1-3 (0-1) while Franklin improved to 1-3 (1-0). FULL STORY
WOMEN’S GOLF: Green hits hole in one at Beaver Fall Classic
The Bluffton University women's golf team placed second at the Beaver Fall Classic, dominating Heartland Conference foe Defiance College by over 80 strokes. Bluffton scored a 326 for the 5th time in 10 rounds this fall! The Beavers finished the weekend with a 658 which is top 5 all-time for 36 holes. FULL STORY
MEN’S GOLF: Bluffton shoots a 609 at Beaver Fall Classic
The Bluffton University men's golf team capped off the 2023 Beaver Fall Classic with a 310 on Sunday, Oct. 1, giving the home team a 609 for the tournament which is 2nd all-time to the school-record 605 from 2021. FULL STORY
WOMEN’S SOCCER: Losses to Transylvania and Anderson
LEXINGTON, Ky.__The Bluffton University women's soccer team went up 1-0 at Lexington, but Transylvania scored nine straight goals for a 9-1 victory in the Heartland Conference lidlifter for both teams on Wednesday, Sept. 27. FULL STORY
The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at Anderson on Saturday, Sept. 30. The Beavers fell to 2-7-1 (0-2 HCAC) while the Ravens improved to 4-3-2 (1-0-1 HCAC). FULL STORY
MEN’S SOCCER: Beavers thump Transy, tie Anderson
The Bluffton University men's soccer team got on the board quickly and scored two more times in the second half for a stunning 3-1 victory over HCAC heavyweight Transylvania on a cloudy Wednesday, Sept. 27. Bluffton improved to 5-3 overall as it opened Heartland Conference play with a win. The Beavers came into Wednesday afternoon with just two wins over the Pioneers in 22 meetings. However, it marked the second victory in the past three years. Bluffton also hit paydirt three times against a school that it had scored just eight goals against in the 22 previous matchups. VOLLEYBALL: Losses to Franklin, JCU and Wilmington
FRANKLIN, Ind.__The Bluffton University volleyball team dropped a three-setter at Franklin College in the Heartland Conference opener for the Beavers on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023. Bluffton fell to 5-13 overall and 0-1 in the HCAC, while Franklin upped its mark to 7-9 and 2-0. FULL STORY
The Bluffton University volleyball team traveled to Wilmington College for a tri-match against the Quakers and John Carroll on Saturday, Sept. 30. The Beavers fell to the Blue Streaks 3-1 (25-22, 25-16, 23-25, 25-20) and then dropped a 3-1 decision (30-28, 17-25, 25-11, 25-13) to Wilmington in match two.
