William Keeler was a farmer and worked for Ford Motor Company
William A. “Bill” Keeler, 78 of Mt Cory, Ohio passed away at 5:17 p.m. on October 2, 2023, at Flower Hospital, in Sylvania, Ohio. Bill was born on October 29, 1944 in Leipsic, Ohio to the late Floyd and Dorothy (Smith) Keeler.
On November 15, 1964, Bill married Laura M. Heldman and she preceded him in death on April 25, 1994. He is also preceded in death by a son Brent Keeler in 2004, a daughter Brenda Keeler in 2008, and a daughter-in-law Debra Keeler in 2023.
Surviving are children William A. Keeler of Rawson, Ohio; Brian K. Keeler of Bluffton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and a brother, James L. (Mary) Keeler of Florida, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Bill was a retired assembler for the Ford Motor Company in Lima, Ohio, and also a farmer in Union Township. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Jenera, Ohio. He was a great storyteller and never knew a stranger. He was loved by many, especially his family.
His hobbies included, going to soccer games, being outdoors, and all things trains. You could not find a nicer person as he made each and every person feel special. He will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home, 500 Lima Avenue, Findlay, Ohio 45840. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home with Rev. Ruth Whitaker officiating. The burial to follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Township Road 32, Jenera, Ohio.
