SOUTH BEND, Ind.__The Bluffton University men's golf team kicked off its final tournament of 2023 with a 337 on Monday, Oct. 23. Bluffton traveled to South Bend, Ind., for the Region V Showcase on the campus of Notre Dame University.

Beavers drop season finale 2-1 to Manchester
The Beavers scored just four minutes in, but Manchester used a tally in each half to knock off Bluffton 2-1 on a beautiful Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023. Bluffton capped off its 2023 campaign with a 3-11-3 mark overall, including 1-6-2 in the Heartland Conference. Manchester improved to 2-14 and 2-7 in the HCAC.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. __The men's soccer team fell to 7-7-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the conference following a 3-0 setback at Rose-Hulman on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023. Rose upped its record to 10-4-2 and 6-1-1 in the HCAC.

Beavers notch 1-1 tie at Manchester
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind.__The Bluffton University men's soccer team notched a 1-1 tie at HCAC regular-season champion Manchester University on Wednesday, Oct. 25. A third straight Heartland Conference tournament berth was the icing on the cake as Bluffton secured the #6 seed! The Beavers moved to 7-7-2 overall and 3-4-2 in the HCAC. Manchester nailed down the #1 seed while moving to 10-0-7 and 6-0-3 in the conference.

R-H rallies for 2-1 win over Beavers
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. __The Beavers jumped in front of Rose-Hulman in the first half, but the Engineers scored twice in the final 35 minutes for a 2-1 on Saturday, Oct. 28. Bluffton saw its 2023 season come to an end in the HCAC tournament for the third straight season, going 7-8-2. RHIT (11-5-2) moves into the Heartland Conference semis at Hanover College on Wednesday afternoon.

MEN’S SWIMMING AND DIVING: Beavers host first-ever home swim meet
LIMA__The Bluffton University Swimming and Diving Team hosted its first-ever home meet on Friday, Oct. 20! The dual matchup with Hiram College was on tap for all to see at the Lima YMCA.

VOLLEYBALL: Hanover trips up Bluffton in three sets
The Beavers kicked off Homecoming weekend against HCAC-rival Hanover College on Friday, Oct. 20, 2023. The Panthers ran away with the first two sets and then held Bluffton off 25-22 for a Heartland Conference sweep. The home team fell to 5-20 overall and 0-5 in league play, while Hanover upped its mark to 16-5 and 4-1 in the Heartland.

Beavers battle in four-set loss at Manchester
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind.__The Bluffton University volleyball team took its first set in Heartland Conference action, but Manchester University won the final two on the way to a 3-1 victory Wednesday night. Bluffton slipped to 5-21 overall and 0-6 in the HCAC, while the Spartans improved to 15-7 and 5-1 in the conference.

Bluffton drops tri-match to Earlham and Wooster
RICHMOND, Ind.__The Bluffton University volleyball team had Earlham College on the ropes in the lidlifter and it went five sets with Wooster on Saturday, Oct. 28, but the Beavers came up just short in both matches, falling to 5-23 overall and 0-7 in the Heartland Conference.
