League of Women Voters launch membership drive
Members of the League of Women Voters of the Lima Area are launching their annual membership drive with an informal reception at The Shawnee Station, 2228 Shawnee Road on Monday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Members are encouraged to attend to participate in dialogue on ways to encourage voter registration, provide educational programs and promote participation in the democratic process.
Prospective members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the League of Women Voters and their mission to provide non partisan information, to encourage voting and to protect citizen’s right to vote.
Membership is open to all citizens (male or female) of voting age. To learn more about the League, go to www.lwvlima.org/ or www.lwvohio.org/
