Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church Christmas services
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, has announced the following Christmas Eve and Christmas day services.
There will be one morning service on Christmas Eve, December 24 at 9:30 a.m.
The children's Christmas Eve service, "With the Shepherds on Christmas Night" (a vintage service from 1948) will be at 7:00 p.m. with piano students playing the pre-service music beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The Christmas Day celebration service will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church on Monday, December 25. The theme is God's Christmas Blessings -- The Perfect Gift: God in man. The readings are: Micah 5:2-5a, Galatians 4:4-7 and John 1:1-18 The sermon text is: John 1:1-18. The
hymns are: "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing; Let Altogether Praise our God; Joy to the World; What Child is This?; From Heaven Above to Earth I Come; and Angels We Have Heard on High.:" The Choir will sing “Mary, Did You Know?”
