James Robert Reichley worked for Cooper Tire
James Robert Reichley, 66, of rural Rawson passed away at Blanchard Valley Hospital on December 17, 2023. He was born in Bluffton, OH on November 2, 1957 to the late Robert and Irene (Rettig) Reichley. He married Debra Moneer on October 16, 2004 and she survives.
Also surviving are three children, Amanda Reichley of Findlay, Melissa (Jonathan) Fischer of Grafton, WI, Brandon Reichley of Jenera; a step-son, Christopher Crosby of Wakefield, MI; a brother, Kevin (Lisa) Reichley of Rawson, sister, Janice Reichley of Findlay; eight grandchildren, Elijah, Simeon, Emma, Esther, Corah, Stephen, Josiah and Silas; two step-grandchildren, Zachary and Matthew and several nieces and nephews.
James was a 1975 graduate of Cory-Rawson High School and retired from Cooper Tire and Rubber Company in 2012 following 39 years of service. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. James was an avid carpenter, loved fishing, camping, spending time with his children and grandchildren and playing the banjo. He was also a member of The Brothers of the Third Wheel.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jenera with Pastor Matthew Nowak officiating on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Crates Funeral Home, Arlington on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 2-4:00 p.m. and 5-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday for one hour prior to the service (10-11:00 a.m.) at the church.
