Trinity Lenten service on March 13
Easter for Kids on March 16
A Wednesday evening Lenten service is planned for March 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera.
Pastor Bob Krueger of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Findlay will be the guest pastor. He will speak on Luke 23:1-12 under the theme "God on Trial: Misconceptions." The hymns are: "Glory Be to Jesus, Sweet the Moments, Rich in Blessings, and Lord, 'Twas Not That I Did Choose You."
The church council will host a free BBQ beef and cheesy potato supper beginning at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend both the supper and the service and the church is handicapped accessible. More information is at www.tlcjenera.org/ or by calling 419-326-4685.
Easter for Kids is a special free one-day Easter VBS, held on Saturday, March 16, from 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m, at Trinity Lutheran School, 105 Allen Street, Jenera. This program, for children age 3 years to 5th grade, will give them a special opportunity to hear the good news of Easter and what Jesus' resurrection means for them through Bible-based activity stations, songs, crafts, games and snacks. Also on March 16, an outdoor Easter Egg Hunt will be held on the school grounds at 12:10 p.m. This free event is for toddlers, preschoolers and elementary age children.
