Katrina M. Riepenhoff taught at Bluffton Middle School
Katrina M. Riepenhoff, 27, of Bluffton, passed away at 10:13 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Blanchard Valley Medical Center, Findlay. She was born on May 11, 1996, in Bluffton to Joe and Becky (Cline) Riepenhoff, who survive in Ottawa.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Marie Cline of Fostoria; and her beloved dogs: Baxter and Tilly.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Gilbert and Dorothy Riepenhoff; and maternal grandfather, Harold Cline.
Katrina graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf High School and Bowling Green State University in Education. After graduation, she taught 5th grade science and math at Ridgemont Elementary School. The past two years, she taught 7th grade math at Bluffton Middle School.
Katrina was a member and Elder of Ottawa Presbyterian Church. She loved animals, watching movies and traveling. Katrina was forever grateful for the 11 well-lived years she was given by the donor of her heart she received at the young age of 16 years old. She was positive, full of joy and loved life.
Funeral service will begin 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2024 at Ottawa Presbyterian Church with Pastors David Bartley and Amy Remaklus officiating. Burial will follow at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to Life Connection, Toledo, Kirkmont Center, Zanesfield or a charity of the donor’s choice.
