New Bluffton community alert and notification program as of March 26
The Village of Bluffton is now using Everbridge as its Community Alert and Notification platform. Please follow this link to sign up to receive alerts from the Village of Bluffton https://member.everbridge.net/354871672832220/login
If you were previously signed up with Nixle for alerts, you will need to sign up with Everbridge to continue receiving communications from the Village. Beginning April 1, 2024, Nixle will no longer be used.
The announcement from the Bluffton Police Department adds, "We are excited to bring this new platform to the community! It will be utilized for emergencies and other important community information. You can choose to receive text messages, emails, and/or phone calls through the sign-up process.
"We will try to get information out as quickly as possible, however this system should not be relied on in all emergencies. Make sure you have a way to receive weather and other alerts of interest from other sources as well."
