Pirate boys tennis nips Bath
Pirates host St. Marys on March 26

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School boys tennis team opened its 2024 season with a 3-2 win over visiting Bath Monday evening, March 25.
The Pirates won at third singles and captured both doubles matches to rally and pull out the victory.
Bluffton sophomore Isaiah Kohli downed Wildcat Taylor McCoy 6-4, 7-5 at third singles.
Sophomores Grady Coonfare and Nick Lovett won at first doubles 6-3, 7-5.
Senior Ayden Diller and sophomore Hudson Phillips rallied to triumph 6-7, 6-3, 6-1 at second doubles.
Junior Branson Hilty lost in straight sets at first singles to Daniel Bolon. Bath’s Ezra Bolon defeated Pirate senior Wade Ginther in two sets at second singles.
The Pirates (1-0) are slated to host St. Marys (0-0) Tuesday evening.
