Murder suspect captured in Rhode Island
From the Allen County (Ohio) Sheriff's Office on March 29, 2024.
We are pleased to inform you that Gervens Justilien was captured at approximately 1:00 p.m. this afternoon (3-29-2024) in Providence, Rhode Island.
He was taken into custody following an extensive investigation by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau and the Northern District of Ohio U.S. Marshals Service – Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. He was ultimately captured by the District of Rhode Island U.S. Marshals Service and will be held in Rhode Island until extradition is ordered.
Gervens is currently charged with a single count of murder at this time but additional charges are possible. Anyone with information related to this crime is still being asked to contact Detective Burke with the Allen County Sheriff’s Office at 419-993-1420 or [email protected]
