Paquin to speak on balancing life’s challenges, April 9
Dr. J. Walter Paquin, professor of social work at Bluffton University, will present Bluffton’s annual Civic Engagement Forum titled, “Balancing Life’s Challenges: How Small Actions Improve Emotional Well-Being.” The presentation will take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, in Yoder Recital Hall.
During the presentation, the social work professor will explain how choices like sleeping more, going outside and eating better food can reduce depression and anxiety, as well as help us address overwhelming challenges like climate change.
This Forum directly relates to Bluffton’s 2023-24 Civic Engagement Theme: Exploring the Continuum of Emotional Wellness.
Forum is free and open to the public.
