Gail Ann Neff, 68, died May 6, 2024, peacefully at her residence with her family by her side.
Gail was born May 15, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan to James Tatum and Helen (Howerton) Burke who preceded her in death. On May 8, 1993 she married Bryan Neff who survives.
Gail loved her family, her poodles: Riley Roodle and Rosie Posie, listening to music, reading for hours, computers, wildlife and nature. She loved fresh cut flowers and plants. She also enjoyed being near the mountains and the cold streams out west. Gail's favorite verse comes from Galatians 5:25, "If we live by the Spirit, we must follow the Spirit."
She is survived by her husband, Bryan Neff of Bluffton; daughter, Heather (Mark) Noble of Lima; two grandchildren, Madison and Samuel Noble; brother, Jimmy Tatum; five nieces, Jodi (Mark), Heidi, Amanda (Ray), Stephanie, and Holly, all of Detroit; sisters-in-law, Deb (Milo) Luginbuhl, Tricia (Joe) Hermann; brother-in-law, Neil Neff; and sister-in-law, Nancy Neff.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Tanya Holloway; and a sister-in-law, Linda Tatum.
A private funeral service will be held at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services of Bluffton. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Thursday, May 9, 2024, 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Home Health & Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice, in Gail's name.
