United Way volunteers to participate in Day of Caring
Some 270 volunteers will assist partner agencies and nonprofites
The United Way of Greater Lima will hold the 2023 Campaign Awards Ceremony and the 8th Annual Day of Caring on Friday, September 6.
The breakfast event begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Ohio State University Lima, Cook Hall Gymnasium, 4240 Campus Drive, Lima 45804.
Nearly 270 volunteers will come together to make an impact by volunteering their time at partner agencies and other non-profits around the county.
The event kicks off the 2024 campaign with the theme “Changing Lives.”
The 2024 campaign goal is $1.6 million dollars.
The total funds raised in the 2023 campaign will also be announced.
