Trinity Lutheran Church of Jenera has announced that their educational play-dates will begin on September 16 and 17 and continue on the first and third Monday and Tuesday of each month from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church, 301 North Main Street.

A second session is held on Mondays from 11:00-12:00 (each of the three sessions are the same.) 

Advance registration is required online at tlcjenera.org or by calling 262-391-7994. The cost is $5 per family (not per child) per session. Payment may be by cash or check. If a session is full, there is a waiting list.

Sessions provide activities for infant through kindergarten age children (ages 0-6 years) Moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, and nannies are welcome.

There will be age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and kindergartners. Adults can mingle with each other and enjoy activities with their children.

Each session will have its own theme, but each session will begin with a devotion, language and literacy activities (stories, flannel board and songs). There will be arts and crafts, sensory activities, gross and fine motor skills and an infant area.

Participants may explore these activities at their own pace. At 10:30 (12:00) a snack will be served.

October 21 or 22: Things that Go

November 4 or 5: Colors and Shapes

November 18 or 19: Fall Harvest Time

December 2 or 3: Moons, Stars, and Night-Time

December 16 or 17: Happy Birthday Jesus Party

January 6 or 7:  Music and Instruments

January 20 or 21: Winter Days: Snowflakes, Hats and Mittens

February 3 or 4: Red, Hearts, and Valentine’s Day

February 17 or 18: Monkeys, Zebras and the Zoo

March 3 or 4: Fun with Food

March 17 or 18: Bugs. Worms and Little Things

April 7 or 8: Eggs and Easter—Jesus is Risen!

April 21 or 22: Rain, Clouds and Puddles

May 5 or 6: Flowers, Birds, and Mother’s Day

May 19 or 20: Summertime Fun: Sand, Seashells and Picnics
