Pirate cross country teams 4th at NWC meet
Fenzl 2nd in boys race

VAN WERT - The Bluffton High School boys and girls cross country teams each finished fourth in the six-team Northwest Conference championship meet Saturday, October 12, at the Van Wert Reservoir course.
Pirate senior Levi Fenzl crossed the finish line second in the boys meet with a time of 16:38.3.
Columbus Grove’s Levi Bryan won the boys individual title in 16:31.2.
Columbus Grove nosed out Crestview 37-40 to win the NWC boys team crown. Lincolnview was third with 66 points, followed by Bluffton (112) and Spencerville (128).
Lincolnview captured the girls NWC team crown with 26 points. Grove was second at 41, followed by Crestview (91), Bluffton (104), Allen East (143) and LCC (145).
Lancer Brynleigh Moody won the girls race in 19:54.2. Lincolnview captured the top two spots and featured five of the top 10 finishers.
