Social Work students will Trick or Can on October 31
Members of the Bluffton University Social Work Club will take part in a Trick or Can activity on October 31, the same night that Bluffton holds trick or treating. Donations will be delivered to the Bluffton Community Assistance Corporation food pantry.
Students in costume will go door to door asking for donations of shelf-stable and nonperishable food items (no glass). Donations may also be left on doorsteps and porches to be collected.
In 2023, the club collected 264 cans of food. Bluffton University faculty and staff have the opportunity to pledge between five and fifty cents per cans collected. In 2023 they contributed $269 to the Trick or Can campaign.
