Steiner receives UWL advising honor
Lindsay Steiner, a 2001 Bluffton High School graduate, received the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse Eagle Excellence in Academic Advising Award. Steiner has been an associate professor of English since 2013.
In 2017 Steiner was one of six Eagle Teaching Excellence Award winners from among nearly 800 nominations at the university, which enrolls close to 10,000 students.
At UWL, Steiner teaches professional and technical writing. She holds an undergraduate degree from Ohio University and a master’s and doctorate in Rhetoric and Composition from Kent State University. Steiner is the daughter of Mary P. and Fred Steiner, formerly of Bluffton and now of Cincinnati.
