MOTTER METRO PARK
Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District board member Bob Antibus discussed the Motter Metro Park in Bluffton. This area was planted in prairie grasses to restore more native grassland habitat. The Little Riley Creek runs through the property, providing habitat for wetland and water species of plants and animals. A gazebo was recently added and a wildlife observation deck and wetland mitigation project will be added.
CHARITY RAFFLE
$200 in charity raffle prizes were awarded.
COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Jamie Lovell from the Bluffton Community Assistance Program spoke to the club on the needs of the food pantry. Members contributed food supplies for our service project.
