Smith '23 continues pro basketball career in Europe

Morgan Smith ’23, has fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming a professional athlete. After countless injuries through high school and college, Smith was uncertain how she would be able to make this dream a reality. After placing her trust in God to redirect her future, Smith came in contact with a professional basketball agent and got her first contract to play professional basketball.
Since graduating, Smith has done her fair share of traveling the world and has played professional basketball for three teams in three different countries. Smith has played for the Den Helder Suns in the Netherlands and Eintracht Braunschweig Lionpride in Germany. Smith will now move to Portugal to play for Maia Basket.
