Obituary for Cheri Lee Lones
Cheri Lee Lones, 68, passed away January 29, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.
Cheri was born April 10, 1956 in Lima, to Harvey and Hazel (Hill) O'Day who preceded her in death. On December 23, 1977 she married Rick Lones who survives.
Cheri loved to read and adored spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Rick Lones of Jenera; two sons, Michael (Carrie) Lones of Findlay, Christopher (Kinzey) Lones of TN; six grandchildren, Ivy (Brad) Hicks, Tyler and Madison Lones, James (Brandy) Lones, Damion (Alesa) Lones, and Brelynn Burrough; and one great-grandson, Colten Lones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Jim (Rita) Hill and Dick (Mary Ann) Hill.
Services will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 at 3:00 pm at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services- Bluffton with Ron Geiser to officiate the service. Visitation will be Monday, February 3, 2025 from 2:00 -3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice.
