Obituary for Amy Kline
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Amy Bishop Kline at 11:57 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 8, 1971, in Findlay, Ohio, to Sharon and Charles Bishop, Amy lived a life marked by generosity, loyalty, and a passion for travel.
A proud alumna of Findlay High School and University of Cincinnati, Amy held various esteemed positions in sales and advertising throughout her career. She traveled extensively while working for Group 3 Advertising in Chicago and served as Director of Sales for Columbus Dispatch Magazines. Most recently, she was a Multi-Media Consultant at WDRB in Louisville, Kentucky. Amy was deeply involved in her community, volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and serving as Vice President for Public Service at the American Advertising Federation.
Amy was predeceased by her brother, Andrew Christian; and her mother, Sharon Steiner Bishop.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Ken Kline of Louisville, Kentucky; her siblings, Stephen (Katie) Bishop of Bloomington, Indiana; her cherished nieces Layla, Sadie, and Charlotte; and her father, Charles (Barbara) Bishop of Findlay.
A memorial service to honor Amy's life will be Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Ratterman Bros. East Louisville Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. with a celebration of life immediately following. An interment service will take place Thursday, February 6, 2025, with a gathering in the sanctuary at St. Marks United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. and interment at Maple Grove Cemetery in Bluffton, Ohio.
