George N. Stultz was a business administrator
George N. Stultz, 82, passed away February 18, 2025 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. George was born May 9, 1942 in Findlay to the late George R. and Rosella J. (Montgomery) Stultz.
George had been a paperboy during high school and was named "Newspaper Boy of the Year" for the Findlay Courier in 1959 and graduated from Findlay High School in 1960. He later graduated from The Ohio State University and worked as a business administrator at First Community Church in Columbus, Ohio and at Grosse Pointe Memorial Church in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
After retirement, George moved back to the family farm to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the country. George enjoyed reading, gardening, rooting for the Buckeyes and writing articles in the Bluffton News. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandson. Spreading his theological insights and progressive theology thinking to others not only at the Bluffton Presbyterian Church but to anyone that he could help was very important to him.
Survivors include two daughters, Katherine "Kathy" (Mark Baumann) Stultz and Elizabeth "Beth" Stultz both of the Columbus area; a grandson, George R. Stultz Baumann of the Columbus area; two brothers, John Stultz and David (Diane) Stultz both of Findlay and his much loved companions, his dog, Trisha and his cat, Daisy.
George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rosella Stultz and numerous faithful, furry companions.
A Celebration of George's Life will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Bluffton Presbyterian Church. A time of fellowship and sharing of stories will follow the service at the church.
Giving was very important to George so in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged to be made to a charity of your choice.
