Alice Y. Rader, 102, was a member of the Bluffton Senior Center
Alice Y. Rader, 102, of Wapakoneta, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at her home. She was born on November 12, 1922 to the late William and May Sheppard.
She was a graduate of Lima South High School. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Lima and the Bluffton Senior Center. She was a past member of the Tri-Ward Boosters, Bath Blue Star Mothers and the Ohio Polka Boosters.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Louis Bitler, second husband Neil Rader, sons: Marvin Bitler and Craig Bitler, sisters: Vera Ketzel, Hazel Frysinger, and Margaretta Eibling, and 3 stepdaughters.
She is survived by her granddaughters: Heather (Matt) Gray of Forest, Ohio and Cathy Eitel of Ada, Ohio, grandsons: Junior (Ti) Conley of Lima, Ohio and David (Tracy) Bitler of Harrod, Ohio, 11 great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
