Marilyn Rose Reigle was a cook at Richland Manor
Marilyn Rose Reigle, 93, passed away March 27, 2025, at the Meadows of Leipsic.
Marilyn was born March 24, 1932 in Vaughnsville to Howard and Rose (Drerup) Auchmuty who preceded her in death. On February 4, 1955 she married Marvin Reigle who preceded her in death on January 25, 2017.
She was a 1950 graduate of Sugar Creek Local High School in Vaughnsville and was a member of Ebenezer Mennonite Church. She was a dedicated mother and retired from Richland Manor as a cook. Marilyn enjoyed traveling and camping with the Wally Byam Airstream Club. She also enjoyed reading, gardening and needle crafts.
She is survived by two children, Steven (Doneta) Reigle and Vickie (Jerry) Cartwright; two granddaughters, Brittany (Tyler Richards) Reigle and Amanda Reigle; two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Jackson Richards; three siblings, Rolland Auchmuty, Larry Auchmuty, and Hattie Basinger; and three siblings-in-law, Jack (Joyce) Reigle, Cheryl Auchmuty, and Leannah Reigle.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by a brother, Lyle Auchmuty; and a brother in law, Jerry Basinger.
Services will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Ebenezer Mennonite Church with Pastors David Glick and Dick Potter to officiate the service. Burial will be in Ebenezer Mennonite Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Mennonite Church: Mission Fund or Second Chance Chapel.
