Pirate tennis loss at Elida

ELIDA – The Bluffton High School boys tennis team lost 5-0 at Elida on Tuesday, April 1 as the host Bulldogs swept all 10 sets.
Pirate senior Branson Hilty lost his first singles match 6-1, 6-0.
Junior Grady Coonfare was defeated at second singles by a 7-5, 6-0 count.
Junior Nick Lovett fell at third singles 6-1, 6-1.
The first doubles tandem of senior Jackson Brauen and Isaiah Kohli lost 6-3, 6-2. The Pirate second doubles duo of Hudson Phillips and Levi Antrim was beaten 6-4, 6-3.
The Pirates visit Shawnee Thursday at 4:30 p.m. The Bluffton home opener is Monday, April 7 vs. Defiance.
