Pirate tennis blanks Wauseon

WAUSEON – The visiting Bluffton High School boys tennis team dominated Wauseon 5-0 on Monday evening, April 14.
The Pirate record improved to 4-1 with the decisive win as they easily captured all 10 sets. In games, the Pirates won 60-4 with three perfect sweeps.
Bluffton senior Branson Hilty rolled to a double-bagel win at first singles by a 6-0, 6-0 score.
Junior Nick Lovett also cruised to victory at second singles by a 6-2, 6-1 tally.
Senior Jack Brauen won his match at third singles without dropping a game 6-0, 6-0.
The first doubles tandem of juniors Grady Coonfare and Isaiah Kohli triumphed in a 6-0, 6-0 demolition.
The Pirate tandem of junior Hudson Phillips and sophomore Brayden McClure easily emerged victorious at second doubles 6-1, 6-0.
