Pirate tennis edged by Bryan

BLUFFTON – The Bluffton High School boys varsity tennis squad lost a tight 3-2 battle to visiting Bryan on Thursday evening, April 24.
The Pirate net record dropped to 7-2 with the close defeat.
Bluffton senior Jack Brauen won his third singles bout 7-6 (7-5 tiebreaker), 6-3.
The Pirate duo of Grady Coonfare and Isaiah Kohli teamed up to cruise to victory at first doubles 6-1, 6-2.
Bluffton senior Branson Hilty lost 6-0, 6-0 at first singles.
Nick Lovett fell 6-1, 6-2 at second singles.
The Pirate duo of junior Hudson Phillips and Brayden McClure lost 6-4, 6-4 in a tough match at second doubles.
