Pirate tennis edges Ottawa-Glandorf

BLUFFTON – The Bluffton High School tennis team nipped visiting WBL rival Ottawa-Glandorf 3-2 on Wednesday, April 30.
The Pirates improved to 10-3 with the victory, while the Titans fell to 8-2 after the loss.
Bluffton captured all three singles matches in straight sets to earn the team victory.
Pirate senior Branson Hilty won handily at first singles 6-2, 6-3.
Bluffton senior Jack Brauen also won easily at second singles 6-1, 6-2.
Pirate left-hander Nick Lovett triumphed 6-1, 6-2 at third singles.
The Bluffton junior duo of Grady Coonfare and Isaiah Kohli lost 6-4, 6-1 at first doubles.
The Pirate tandem of junior Hudson Phillips and sophomore Levi Antrim fell 6-0, 6-3 at second doubles.
