Pirate baseball seeded 5th

The Bluffton High School boys baseball team was seeded fifth at the Div. V Northwest District 2 Bluffton University sectional drawing Sunday, May 11.
Nine teams are in the rugged sectional, with Midwest Athletic Conference leader Coldwater (19-1) seeded first.
The Pirates (10-11) will visit fourth seed Liberty-Benton (15-3) Saturday, May 24 at noon. The Eagles are first in the Blanchard Valley Conference.
The Bluffton/L-B winner will likely play second seed Milan Edison (19-1) Thursday, May 29 at 2 p.m. in the district semifinal.
Third seed Oak Harbor (11-10) hosts seventh seed Willard May 24. Coldwater hosts sixth seed Spencerville (8-8) May 24. If the higher seeds hold form, the top seed Cavaliers will play OH in the district semifinals at Bluffton May 29.
The district finals are at Bluffton University Saturday, May 31 at 2 p.m.
