Lois Elaine Adams served in the U.S. Army
Lois Elaine Adams, 80, passed away May 15, 2025, at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, in Findlay.
Lois was born September 6, 1944 in Lima, to John and Della (Brenneman) Hartman who preceded her in death.
Lois graduated from Bath High School in 1964. After graduation, Lois enlisted in the United States Army for 12 years. She had later managed numerous gas stations and retired from PlastiPak. She attended Ebenezer Mennonite Church. She could typically be found reading a book and always valued spending time with loved ones.
She is survived by her sister, Angela Steiner of Bluffton; a niece, Sarah (Nathan) Moyer of Findlay; two nephews, Stephen (Karen) Steiner of Indianapolis, IN, and John Steiner of AZ; two great nephews, Isaiah and Elijah Moyer of Findlay; and many cousins that she adored.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Hartman, and a brother-in-law, Jack Steiner.
Services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10:00 am at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton with Pastor David Glick to officiate the service. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 9:00-0:00 am at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association.
