June 2025 Apollo Career Center news
APOLLO NEWSLETTER JUNE 3__Greetings from the Apollo campus,
A total of 417 students received their certificates from Apollo Career Center, and Senior Honors Night served as a celebration of the achievements of the Class of 2025.
This year's class achieved an impressive 7,900 credential points and earned numerous college credits. They successfully completed school-to-work opportunities, attended Buckeye Boys and Girls State, participated in the Allen Lima Leadership Youth Program, were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, and gained valuable experience through the pre-apprenticeship program. Many students also earned awards and scholarships. It is with great pride that we celebrate their achievements and send them forward, Next Ready.
As we begin our summer schedule and wrap up the school year, we are also relocating programs to different spaces, moving into the new Public Safety building, and the custodial staff is cleaning, stripping, and waxing every building on campus.
Apollo also offers online summer school beginning in June, and Adult Education continues throughout the summer with full-time programs, customized training, driver's ed, and CDL A, B, and D examinations.
Apollo Career Center doesn't shut down over the summer months, but it does offer some flexibility for our staff to get some downtime before gearing up for the next school year.
Enjoy your summer. As always, we appreciate the support we receive from our partners and the community.
Superintendent Keith Horner
