Memorial service for Lynn R. LaRue
Lynn R. LaRue, 84, passed away January 5, 2025, at the Meadows of Leipsic.
Lynn was born August 15, 1940 in Findlay, to William and Ruth (Sherfy) LaRue who preceded him in death. On August 19, 1961 he married Donna (Bach) LaRue who survives.
Lynn was a graduate of Findlay High School. He dedicated many years to the Findlay Police Department as an officer and also worked as a forklift operator for Whirlpool. Lynn was an avid Ohio State football fan and loved to play the harmonica.
He is survived by his wife, Donna J. LaRue of Pandora; two daughters, Sandra LaRue and Ann Messer; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irma J Mansfield and K. Elaine McDonald; and one nephew, Billy Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to Lighthouse Community Church.
A memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Lighthouse Community Church in Findlay.
