August 19 Club meeting at Town Hall at noon. 50/50 Charity Raffle. Speaker will be Village Administrator Jesse Blackburn.
NEW MEMBER BIOGRAPHIES
Don Burris graduated from Bluffton High School, lives in Bluffton and has been active with public service in the community. He was employed by Buehrer Group Architecture and Engineering until retirement. He has two daughters and five grandchildren. He enjoys woodworking and photography. His plans are to travel, camp and photograph America.
Zac Kohli resides in Bluffton with his wife Morgan. They have four children. His education was in finance and business. He is a Superior Plus Realtor in Northwest Ohio, and was previously a banker, business owner and mortgage broker. His hobbies are coaching youth football, flying drones, community volunteering and supporting local nonprofits.
LIONS CLUB SOCIAL PICNIC
On Tuesday, July 8, the Bluffton Lions held their annual picnic at Buckeye Park. Sixteen members and guests enjoyed grilled brats and covered dishes brought to share. Emma Tuttle and Chayse Rodabaugh, 2025 scholarship winners, shared their histories and plans for the future.
LEGACY PARK PLAYGROUND
Update on Funds raised for the All-Inclusive Playground at Legacy Park: Current balance of pledges and donations is nearing $150,000. The goal is $300,000.
RIDE TO REMEMBER
Saturday, July 12 brought 186 participants for the annual Ride to Remember into Bluffton starting at 7:00 a.m. The ride was held in the Village of Bluffton and the surrounding countryside. Funds from this project go to supporting the Bluffton Lions Pathway. Lions assisting with this project are Dwain Hall, Ed Yeager, Zac Kohli, Andrew Armstrong, Natalie Armstrong, Bill Croft, Lowell Hostetler, Ron Lora and Tracy Steele. Leo club members also participated.
