On Monday, July 28, Bluffton Council is scheduled to vote on the first reading of an ordinance to vacate a portion of Vine St. between N. Jackson and N. Lawn as requested by Bluffton Exempted Village Schools (as part of a proposed 1.2 acre artificial turf practice field).

The council will also hold a 7:05 p.m. public hearing on the topic.

The council agenda shows that the the Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31. Some aspects of the practice field design would require variances from Village code.
