Funeral service for Judy Lee Reichenbach
Judy Lee Reichenbach, 82, passed away July 26, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family. Judy was born August 28, 1942 in Racine, Wisconsin to the late Leonard and Clara (Truan) Allen. On August 15, 1964 she married Larry Reichenbach.
Judy graduated from Union Grove High School, Union Grove, Wisconsin. She was a homemaker and had worked at various jobs including as a secretary at Ives Manufacturing and Johnsons Wax, as a keypunch at Lima Telephone Company, as a caterer for the Fruit Basket and had been a babysitter and worked with various after school programs.
Judy never met a stranger and enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, spending time with her grandchildren, her cats and attending classic car clubs and shows for forty-five years. She was also a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Bluffton where she had served as a deacon.
Survivors include her husband, Larry D. Reichenbach of Bluffton; four children, Jodie Parker of Bluffton, Paula (Mark) Schwemer of Kenton, Brent (Michelle) Reichenbach of Bluffton, Brad Reichenbach of Castle Rock, Colorado; four grandchildren, Emily and Olivia Parker of Bluffton, Gage White of Findlay, Nash White of Wyoming, Michigan; a brother, Gordon Allen of Union Grove, Wisconsin and a sister, Betty (Bernard) Backus of Union Grove, Wisconsin.
Judy was preceded in death by a son, Larry Reichenbach, Jr.
Judy's service will begin at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2025 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton with Pastor Jeremy Mann and William Herr officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton following the service. Visitation will be Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Home Health & Hospice or the Allen County Humane Society.
