Jack Grant Reichenbach served in the Ohio National Guard

Memorial service at 11 a.m., August 16 at St. Paul’s Church, Ada

Jack Grant Reichenbach, 79, passed away July 27, 2025 at his residence in Bluffton. Jack was born October 18, 1945 in Bluffton to the late Herbert and Dorothy (Agner) Reichenbach. On July 8, 1970, he married Edith "Edie" Staley Reichenbach.

After attending Bluffton High School, Jack served in the Ohio National Guard. He retired from the Village of Bluffton where he worked on the public works department and was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Ada. In his spare time, Jack enjoyed making knives and having "buddy" night with his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Edith "Edie" Reichenbach of Bluffton; three children, Dennis (Jeanette) Chamberlin of Parma, Ohio, Rue (Neil) Hauenstein of Bluffton, Janell (John) Alusik of Layton, Utah; four grandchildren, Spencer, Grant and Shannon Chamberlin and Karson Hauenstein and a sister-in-law, Diana Reichenbach of Bluffton.

Jack was preceded in death by a brother, Sam Reichenbach.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025 at St. Paul’s Church, 4443 Township Road 25, Ada.
