Pirate girls golf falls to Minster

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School girls golf team lost a dual match to visiting Minster on August 13 at the Bluffton Golf Club.
The Wildcats prevailed decisively, 195-243.
Minster’s Eleanor Sommer won match medalist honors by carding a nine-hole score of 45. Teammate Lauren Heitkamp registered a 47, while Stella Mumaw was third with a round of 50. The Wildcats posted the top four finishers.
Bluffton was led by Katie Bauman, who shot a round of 56 to finish fifth in the 11-player field. Pirate Ally Stechschulte was right behind with a 57. Molly Scott and Kaydence Welch each posted a 65 to finish out the Pirate scorers.
Marissa Dennis added a round of 71.
