Pirate girls soccer loss to Anna

ANNA__The visiting Bluffton High School girls soccer team lost a 1-0 defensive struggle to Anna in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 9.
The Pirate girls fell to 3-5 with the road defeat.
Anna, which plays in the Western Ohio Soccer League, improved its record to 5-3 after the low-scoring victory.
Rocket Adyson Bales scored in the 16th minute to provide the only goal of the game. Neither team scored over the final 64 minutes.
Bluffton fired eight of its 18 shots on goal. Anna put 11 of its 15 shots on target.
Pirate keeper Kynzie Ewing made 10 saves, while Anna goalie Allison Staudter came up with eight saves.
Bluffton (2-0 NWC) hosts LCC (0-3, 0-2 NWC) in a Northwest Conference battle on Thursday, Sept.11.
