Pirates boys golf edged in NWC tri-match

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School boys golf team lost a tight Northwest Conference triangular match at Moose Landing Golf Club in Ottawa on Tuesday, September 9.

Allen East won the closely-contested match with 165 strokes, followed closely by Columbus Grove (167) and Bluffton (173).

The Pirates are 8-7 overall and 4-5 in NWC play after the match.

Mustang Brady Brooks earned match medalist status by shooting a round of 37. He was followed closely by teammate Levi Clum, who carded a 38 to finish second. 

Nick Lovett led Bluffton with a round of 39 to finish third individually. Michael King paced CG by shooting a 41.

Grove is 9-6 overall and 7-2 in the NWC. AE improved to 8-2 and 7-2 in NWC play with the wins.
