Pirate girls tennis win vs. Wauseon

WAUSEON__The visiting Bluffton High School girls tennis team defeated Wauseon 3-2 in a dual match on Thursday, September 11.
The Pirate girls improved to 4-7 with the dual match victory.
Bluffton senior Hannah Nieman defeated Wauseon’s Lainey Zeintek handily 6-1, 6-0 at first singles.
Junior Ari Bowling crushed Brizarely Cortez 6-0, 6-0 at third singles.
The Pirate duo of sophomore Peighton Bowers and freshman Leah Hoffman beat Leija and Martin 6-0, 7-6 at second doubles.
Bluffton senior Claire Blackburn lost 6-0, 6-0 to Presley Ziegler at second singles.
Pirate juniors Willow Angle and Kate Klinger lost a tough 7-5, 7-6 battle at first doubles to Schlegel and Rice.
The Pirates compete at the Ottawa Hills tournament on Saturday.
