September 2025 Bluffton chamber take-aways

The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce is back in action with monthly breakfast meetings after a brief summer hiatus. The September 12 meeting introduced members to new Bluffton University President Alex Sider.
BACC director Jim Enneking also provided the following chamber updates.
FLYERS PROMOTE RETAIL AND SERVICES
Chamber members are being promoted with tear-off flyers. A list of retail businesses has been distributed and a services version is in the works.
FARMERS MARKET UPDATE
The Saturday a.m. Bluffton Farmers Market has seven more weeks in the 2025 season. Corn is still being sold and apples have arrived.
SCARECROW CONTEST
Liz Gordon-Hancock announced that businesses and organizations are invited to enter the annual Scarecrow Decorating Contest that decorates the downtown business district between summer petunias and Blaze of Lights decorations. Contact the chamber to claim a light pole. Entries must be installed by the first Friday of October.
