Pirate CC runs at Van Wert Invite

VAN WERT__The Bluffton High School cross country teams competed in the Ohio Health Van Wert Hospital Invitational meet Saturday at the County Reservoir course.

BOYS RESULTS
Crestview won the boys team title with just 33 points, well ahead of second-place Van Wert (100).  

The Pirate boys came in 11th place (343 points) out of 15 teams.

Freshman Atticus Prothro paced Bluffton with a 48th-place finish (18:36.7).

Sophomore Toby Clevidence ended up 58th (19:04.2). Sophomore Levin Essinger was 81st (19:55.4). Sophomore Liam Moore finished 123rd (21:38.9).

Freshman Logan Stechschulte ended up 125th (21:39.5). Freshman Micah Dimarco finished 129th(21:49.0). 

Freshman Caleb Kantner came in 144th (24:12.3). Junior Damian Criblez crossed the line 161st (28:21.9).

Bryan Garcia of New Haven, Ind. won the 164-runner boys race in a time of 15:55 2.

GIRLS RESULTS
Ottawa-Glandorf captured the girls team crown with 36 points, and the VW Cougar girls came in second (52). 

The Bluffton girls finished ninth out of 11 teams with 222 points.

Freshman Tessa Tarplee finished 26th out of 106 runners to lead Bluffton with a time of 22:21.5.

Senior Lydia Tarplee ended up 38th (23:34.2). Junior Tala Gipson came in 62nd (25:31.4).

Senior Elizabeth Honse finished 63rd (25:34.5). Freshman Jora Boisvert came in 100th (31:39.5).

Shawnee senior Jenna Stump crossed the line first in the girls race with a winning time of 19:22.
